therapy that meets you where you are

For a lot of us, asking for help wasn't modeled. We were taught to pray through it, push through it, figure it out. Therapy felt like something for people who were really struggling and you're not really struggling, you're just... tired. Stretched. Carrying more than you let anyone see. That's enough. You don't have to hit a wall before you're allowed to rest. Generation Mend is a space for the ones who are holding it together and ready to stop doing it alone.

Individual Therapy

You've been holding it together for a long time. Maybe it's showing up as anxiety you can't shake, patterns in relationships you keep repeating, or a quiet exhaustion that rest doesn't fix. Individual therapy at Generation Mend is a space where you don't have to perform being okay. We work with Black women and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relational wounds, and the weight of what was inherited — with warmth, cultural grounding, and no judgment.

Couples Therapy

You love each other. You're also exhausted, having the same argument in different clothes, and starting to wonder if it's always going to feel this hard. Couples therapy at Generation Mend isn't about picking sides or assigning blame. It's about understanding the patterns underneath — where they came from, why they keep showing up, and how to build something different together. We work with couples ready to stop surviving each other and start choosing each other.

Family Therapy

Some of the most important healing happens between people who love each other and still can't quite reach each other. Family therapy at Generation Mend creates space for those conversations — the ones about parenting, conflict, grief, trauma, and the cycles that have been running longer than any of you have been alive. We have particular expertise working with families with infants and young children, because we know that the earliest relationships don't just shape childhood. They shape everything that comes after.

The earliest relationships are the most formative ones we'll ever have. At Generation Mend, we offer specialized therapy for children birth to five and their caregivers — because we believe that healing at the root changes everything that grows from it. If you're a parent navigating a difficult start, a caregiver trying to understand a child's behavior, or someone who simply wants to give your child something different than what you received, this work is for you.

For Organizations & Practitioners

The professionals who do the hardest work rarely get the support that matches it. At Generation Mend, we partner with organizations and practitioners who are ready to go beneath the surface — building cultures, teams, and practices rooted in reflection, repair, and genuine connection.

The MEND Model

Our signature offering. The MEND Model is an 8 to 9 month relational facilitation process that transforms how teams communicate, navigate conflict, and show up for each other. This isn't a one-day training. It's a sustained practice that creates culture change you can actually feel. Ideal for nonprofits, early childhood organizations, healthcare teams, and mission-driven organizations ready to invest in their people.

Reflective Supervision

For practitioners who want more than a professional consultation, they want space to think. Reflective supervision at Generation Mend offers independent clinicians, consultants, and helping professionals a calm, structured space to process their work, sharpen their practice, and tend to themselves in the process. If you've been doing this work alone and feeling it, this is for you.
